The Haryana Corrugated Box Manufacturers Association (HCBMA), in association with the Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers (FCBM), had organised a ‘meet and greet event’ on 11 October 2025 at Antlia by ZION in Sonepat, Haryana.
Sponsored by Robus India and a host of other companies, the main objective of the event was to hone the skills of professionals in the Indian corrugated industry through well-designed new programs.
Among the keynote speakers present at the event revolving around learning, networking, and celebration was Alok Gupta, chairman, Taxation & Legal Maters, FCBM. He spoke about the recent changes in GST. Paras Devgun talked about the provisions of MSME schemes in the industry.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between HCBMA and Robus India was signed for establishing a collaborative framework to promote ‘skill development program’ for personnel engaging in auto die cutting and folder gluing jobs.
Prem Vishwakarma, managing director of Robus India, said the MoU’s aim was to enhance the technical competency, operational efficiency, and knowledge of machinery among the member units of HCBMA.
As a leading producer of carton packaging machines, Robus India’s expertise extends over folder gluers, die-cutters, and laminators catering to the folding cartons and corrugated industries. Vishwakarma said the MoU will cover machine availability, training by skilled teams, skill matrix & certification, support from manufacturers, program costs, and so on.
Attended by a host of leading corrugated box manufactures and suppliers from different parts of Haryana, Delhi-NCR, and beyond, the special highlights at event included major announcements on associates for skill development centres, unveiling of new district chapters, and the launch of the HCBMA Connect App.
