XSYS, a global leader in flexographic plate, plate processing, and prepress solutions, has announced a major milestone in its integration process—the successful launch of a dual-manufacturing strategy for its entire plate portfolio. This means XSYS’s core production sites in Morristown, USA, and Willstätt, Germany, are now both equipped to produce the company’s most important products.
Since integrating the legacy XSYS and MacDermid Graphics Solutions operations, the company has invested heavily to ensure that all essential product lines can be produced at both locations. This strategic move means that flagship technologies previously tied to a single site are now manufactured at the other as well, significantly boosting global availability and providing a crucial layer of supply security for customers worldwide.
For example, the well-established ITP 60 plate, now part of the nyloflex brand portfolio, is also produced in Willstätt, Germany, while the nyloflex FTV plate is manufactured in Morristown, USA.
This two-site production model is designed to ensure a reliable supply, all while maintaining the exceptional quality customers expect from XSYS technologies. By aligning production processes, specifications, and quality control systems between both sites, XSYS guarantees consistent performance and reliability no matter where the product is made.
“This milestone shows how our integration directly translates into real benefits for our customers,” said Timo Schwickart, CCO at XSYS. “By investing in backup manufacturing capabilities across our core sites, we are reinforcing our commitment to continuity, strengthening trust, and building a robust foundation for long-term partnership.”
The initiative is a core part of a broader post-merger strategy focused on better operations, scalability, and customer confidence. Beyond infrastructure investments, XSYS has strengthened collaboration between sites, expanded internal expertise, and aligned manufacturing governance to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes globally.
For customers, the benefits are straightforward: reliable availability, consistent quality, and confidence in the long-term support of trusted plate technologies, the company said.
The ‘Made in USA’ and ‘Made in Germany’ origins of XSYS products remain powerful markers of quality, precision, and reliability now unified under one integrated global organization.
Headquartered in Willstaett, Germany, XSYS operates globally and remains one of the largest suppliers offering both flexographic and letterpress prepress solutions, including plates, sleeves, processors, workflow solutions, and expert professional services, designed to help these industries move forward with increasing innovation, improved productivity and profitability, and a reduced environmental footprint.
