Aura
Keith Williams as director of Software Engineering

Packaging consultancy Aura Global has appointed Keith Williams as director of Software Engineering to strengthen its technology and AI offering for retailers and brands.

Reporting to technology director Robert Quigley, Keith will play a key role in scaling Aura Global’s software engineering capability and helping to evolve the company’s connected technology ecosystem for retailers, brands and product suppliers.

His focus will include the continued development of e-halo, Aura Global’s proprietary packaging sustainability platform for capturing, interpreting and transmitting accurate real-time data, and e-flow, its secure end-to-end packaging process software for managing creative packaging design and artwork.

Together, these platforms support Aura Global’s ambition to help clients turn packaging complexity into clarity, improve governance, and make faster, better-informed decisions at scale.

Keith has a strong background in building and scaling software solutions, including AI-driven procurement and analytics platforms. He joins from Rosslyn and previously worked with Aura for seven years up to 2018.

Rob Quigley, technology director at Aura Global, comments, “Technology is central to Aura Global’s growth strategy. Our clients are facing increasing pressure from regulation, data complexity and the need to move faster, so our platforms have to keep evolving to give them greater visibility, control and confidence.

“Keith brings exactly the kind of engineering leadership and scaling experience we need as we continue to strengthen our internal capability and reduce operational complexity. He will help us introduce practical AI-enabled tools that deliver measurable value for clients.”

Keith Williams adds, “Aura Global has a distinctive combination of packaging expertise, data and technology. There is a real opportunity to keep building software that makes that expertise easier to access, faster to deploy, and more scalable for global retailers and brands.

“Returning to a team I know well, at such an exciting point in its growth, is a genuine privilege.”

Aura Global is also investing in a larger studio in Bengaluru, India, doubling its operational space. This investment provides a modern, scalable environment that supports both current client demand and future expansion, while creating capacity for additional talent, enhanced collaboration, and the continued development of its service offering.

The new Bengaluru studio has been purpose-built to support Aura Global’s long-term growth strategy and strengthen its position as a key global delivery hub. As client demand continues to grow, particular emphasis is being placed on expanding the Data Assurance, Account Management and Adaptive Design functions,

Aura Global India, which also includes a second studio in Chennai, has increased its workforce by over 300% since its inception and 34% in the past 24 months, creating the capacity and capability needed to support future growth across international markets.

The India studios, with more than 50 years of collective experience in the premedia and packaging graphics industry, enable Aura Global to provide 24/6 support for clients. Alongside its UK and US studios, they provide access to the right expertise across time zones – creating a connected delivery model capable of supporting large-scale packaging programs.

Greg Lawson, managing director at Aura Global, adds, “Over the last three years, our India operation has evolved into a multi-disciplinary center of excellence that combines creative, technical, and production expertise to support retailers and brands throughout the packaging and brand lifecycle.

“The continued growth of these teams, supported by the new capacity, positions the India team to play an even greater role, alongside our UK and US studios, in supporting future business growth for our packaging clients globally.”
