DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions team receiving the award

The DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions team was honored with the Indian Flexible Packaging & Folding Carton Manufacturers Association (IFCA) Star Award 2024 during a ceremony held on 12 December at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) in Mumbai. The Cyrel South Asia team accepted the award in the presence of key players from the printing and packaging Industry.

DuPont’s newly launched Cyrel Easy Fast EFM has won the IFCA Star Award in the ‘Innovations Leading to Sustainability’ category. With sustainability as a key driver for the global print market, brands opt to replace plastics with paper and use recycled paper for their packaging. Cyrel Easy Fast EFM photopolymer plates are optimized to deliver excellent print results on various paper substrates—including coated, uncoated, rough, and recycled papers. Additionally, FAST thermal processing offers a safer work environment through the reduced use of solvents, energy efficiency, and increased productivity in plate processing.

The Cyrel Easy Fast EFM photopolymer plate enables the paper bag, tag and label, envelope, paper napkin, folding carton, and corrugation industries to use greater volumes of recycled content in their paper substrates.

With this recognition, Cyrel Flexographic Solutions seeks to further introduce innovative and sustainable solutions to the market, leveraging groundbreaking technologies that ensure reliability without compromising print quality results, states a company release.
