The new Titan ER610 DT at K2019 – compact, robust and great value

Atlas Converting officially launched its Titan ER610-DT Compact Dual Turret Slitter Rewinder to maximize productivity, processing web widths up to 1650 millimeters (65 inches) at speeds up to 600 meters a minute (2000 feet a minute) at K 2019. The machine had several features that enhance operator safety and productivity improvements. One of the key productivity improvements shown to us was the use of laser spotlights that help in precisely and quickly aligning the take-up cores for the slit reels.

The new compact dual turret slitter rewinder represents three years in research and development with significant investments in new parts design and processes. It has very high build standards and very dependable engineering.

Apart from the productivity and safety improvements, the compact elements of the ER610 are enhanced in the new ER610-DT with the inclusion of turret rewinding, automatic cross-cut and independent rewind drives with options for both differential and lock rewind capabilities. The ER610-DT is aimed at fast-growing markets looking for slitting efficiencies and accuracy. It maintains the robust Titan build quality and is aimed at a broad and price-conscious market.

Meaningful digital experience for customers

At K 2019, Andrew Wood was optimistic about the Indian flexible packaging industry, saying that the Atlas converting website receives the highest traffic from India.
