Parikh Packaging wins social award for contribution to society

Recognition from parent group


Austrian flexible packaging major Constantia Flexibles Group recognizes the best companies within its cluster who are contributing towards the society. This year’s global award, judged by external jury, focused on companies helping within their neighborhoods and less fortunate in society.

Ahmedabad-based Parikh Packaging, part of Constantia Flexibles Group, submitted the maximum number of entries this year. However, out of total 40 sites, the maximum number of entries were by Parikh. School development in Nadiad town of Gujarat and women empowerment at the workplace were the category winning entries from Parikh.

In addition, Parikh Packaging came under possession of Austrian flexible packaging major in 2013. Parikh Packaging’s manufacturing plant is near Ahmedabad in the western state of Gujarat. A new greenfield plant will be coming up close to Parikh’s current plant.

Morover, Constantia Flexibles group has recently acquired a majority shareholding in another Indian film-based laminates producer, Creative Polypack Limited.
