Mumbai-based Swastik Arts, a manufacturer and supplier specializing in premium labels, stickers, and print collateral, has completed the first installation of a Jetrix digital label press from Colorix, a business unit of the Surat-based Orange Company. The commissioning marks a key step in Colorix’s strategy to expand its industrial digital printing footprint across the country.

Swastik Arts selected the Jetrix digital label press as part of its ongoing investment in advanced manufacturing technologies to strengthen production capabilities and meet the increasing demand for premium labels with faster delivery schedules.

According to the company, the press is designed to address the growing market demand for short-run production, and has quick turnaround times, and variable-data capability. Built around a 6-color UV inkjet engine, the Jetrix platform incorporates inline cold foil and lamination units, allowing operators to execute printing, metallic embellishments, and surface finishing within a single continuous pass.

The integrated setup aims to streamline production workflows while minimizing setup times and material wastage compared to traditional analog methods. It features Epson S3200 industrial inkjet printheads with resolution up to 1200 × 600 dpi.

Established in 1995, Swastik Arts operates out of a facility in the TTC Industrial Area of MIDC, Pawane, Navi Mumbai. The company has more than 27 years of industry experience in packaging, advertising, and corporate branding.

It offers a diverse portfolio of print products, including product labels, MRP stickers, corporate stationery, catalogs, brochures, leaflets, and specialized items such as perfume-smelling strips.

Under the leadership of director Sanjay Kadam, the firm focuses on technical precision and client satisfaction, continuously investing in advanced manufacturing solutions—such as its adoption of industrial digital label presses—to handle both bulk and high-value custom production.

The Colorix technology targets a broad spectrum of commercial applications, including consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food and beverage, and industrial manufacturing. As regional brand owners increasingly prioritize versioning, localized packaging, and tighter inventory control, label converters across India are leaning toward digital machinery that eliminates long make-ready cycles and plate overheads.

“The Jetrix Digital Label Press has demonstrated excellent machine stability, remarkable print consistency, and exceptionally vibrant colour reproduction from the beginning,” Kadam said.

“The successful installation of our first Jetrix digital label press is a proud milestone for Colorix and an important step in our commitment to transforming India’s label printing industry,” Hariom Dave, sales head, Colorix, said.

Swastik Arts has built a reputation for quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, making them the ideal partner for this installation. We are delighted with the positive market response and pleased to announce that five additional Jetrix press installations are already scheduled across India. This growing momentum reflects the industry’s confidence in our technology and reinforces Colorix’s commitment to delivering world-class digital printing solutions backed by comprehensive local sales, service, training, and application support,” Dave said.

As converters continue to balance traditional high-volume flexographic output with high-value, agile digital production, local service backing, application engineering, and integrated finishing capabilities are proving to be essential factors in equipment selection.
