Marking a milestone in its relationship with Indian flexo press manufacturer and exporter Multitec, Tarabichi Global, a printing-packaging group with operations in five countries, completed the factory acceptance test (FAT) of its sixth and seventh Multitec presses. It also signed an order for its eighth and largest Multitec press during the same FAT visit.
The latest investments build on a relationship spanning successive press installations and reflect Tarabichi Global’s continued confidence in Multitec technology as the group expands its production capabilities. At the centre of the latest delivery is a 9-color, 670 mm S3S sleeve-based flexo press for flexible packaging production.
Built around a highly automated servo architecture, the press features 8 servo motors per print station and over 80 servo drives across the entire press. Multitec’s new servo auto-pressure control system enables precise pressure settings across different print repeats and material thicknesses, while maintaining consistent pressure throughout the speed range. The press features a reversible first print unit, eliminating the need for turnbars when working with thin films.
For Tarabichi Global, the press has been additionally configured with two inline foiling stations and a laminator, expanding the range of value-added applications that can be produced inline.
During the FAT, multiple production jobs were run and validated across different materials, repeats, and plate sets. Multiple job changeovers, involving changes in both substrates and printing plates, were consistently completed within 10 minutes, demonstrating the S3S platform’s speed and repeatability for short-run flexible packaging production.
The second press completing FAT as part of the same delivery is Multitec’s S2 450, the proven workhorse platform for PSA labels, shrink sleeves, and more.
Beyond the performance demonstrated during the FAT, the successive investments underline the strength of the relationship between the two companies.
Tarabichi Global’s decision to place its next, and largest, Multitec order during the FAT visit itself adds another chapter to a partnership built on proven performance and continued investment.
From the sixth and seventh presses completing FAT together to the eighth being signed during the same visit, the milestone reflects a partnership that continues to grow.
Multitec will display its recent innovations at stands F20 and G20 during Loupe India 2026, scheduled to be held at the India Expo Mart & Centre in Greater Noida from 29 October to 1 November 2026.
