Lanxess
The Lanxess team athe the Rubber expo in Delhi

Specialty chemicals company Lanxess is participating in the 12th India Rubber Expo 2026, taking place from 7 to 10 April 2026, at ITPO, Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Visitors can engage with the team at stand B006, Hall 5, where the company is presenting its innovative product solutions which include rubber chemicals, specialty chemicals and processing aids for the rubber industry.

Functional tire additives: Lanxess offers additives for all steps of rubber production from a single source. The broad portfolio of additives includes accelerators, antioxidants, anti-ozonants and peptizers.

Sustainable antioxidants for rubber: Lanxess is introducing its latest rubber additive Vulkanox HS Scopeblue, the sustainable variant of the proven antioxidant Vulkanox HS (TMQ), which tire manufacturers use to effectively protect their products from adverse effects of oxygen and heat. The additive is also characterized by low volatility and low migration tendency.

Compared to the conventionally manufactured product, the carbon footprint of Vulkanox HS Scopeblue is more than 30 percent lower and it is made from 55 percent sustainable raw materials. This is achieved by using biocircular acetone and renewable energy in production. The mass-balanced product is manufactured in an ISCC PLUS-certified plant in Germany.

In addition, the company is presenting Vulkanox 4060, a sustainable alternative to 6PPD with an optimized environmental profile. In tire compounds and finished tires, laboratory and application tests have demonstrated that the product provides comparable protection against oxidative aging.

The broader portfolio on display includes brands such as Vulkacit, Vulkanox, Renacit, Zinkoxyd aktiv, NaMBT 50%, Vulkanox 4005, Benzothiazole (BT).

Specialty rubber products

Lanxess delivers high-performance solutions across the entire value chain – from compound development to the finished component. Its portfolio spans pre-dispersed chemicals, processing aids, vulcanization and filler activators, anti-sun-check waxes, release agents, latex chemicals, footwear additives, tire-marking paints, and durable tire-curing bladders. Across applications, we help you boost efficiency, quality, and performance.

With its modern additional release agent manufacturing plant in Jhagadia, Lanxess provides the newest product generations to the Indian market.

The filler-free inside tire paints, Rhenodiv BP-337 and BP-338 ensure that the vulcanized tire can be cleanly and flawlessly demolded from the vulcanization process. Although, the product is chemically non-reactive, it achieves the same release effect as reactive systems. It requires significantly less material compared to conventional solutions and, unlike traditional reactive systems, does not release hydrogen during processing.

The SRP portfolio covers advanced products such as Rhenogran CLD 80, Aflux SD, and Vulcuren, which are engineered to enhance crosslinking efficiency, processing stability, and long term dynamic performance. These technologies play a critical role, for example, in the formulation of next generation low-rolling- resistance compounds, supporting the production of “green tires” to meet the increasing global demand for sustainable and energy efficient mobility solutions. Many of these products are now domestically manufactured for example, Aflux 42, Aktiplast PP, and several others.

Plasticizers and flame retardants

Lanxess manufactures a diverse range of high-performance additives for rubber industry, including 100% phthalate-free plasticizers and flame retardants, polymeric plasticizers with long-term extraction resistance, halogen-free phosphate-based flame retardants and brominated flame retardants for high-temperature applications.

Featured brands include Mesamoll, Ultramoll, Disflamoll, Reofos, Levagard, Firemaster and Emerald Innovation.
