Inkmaker, founder of IM Group and now the sole shareholder of IEC+, has announced the completion of the integration process initiated by IM Group in September 2025 with the consolidation of IEC+ operations into the Group’s global headquarters in San Gillio, Turin.
The operational integration undertaken over the past months has successfully aligned IEC+’s engineering, technical, and commercial activities with IM Group’s organizational structure, creating a more streamlined and efficient operating model while preserving the specialist expertise for which IEC+ is recognized globally.
Inkmaker’s acquisition of 100% ownership of IEC+ represents the natural next step in this process for IM Group, formalizing an integration that has already delivered significant synergies across engineering, project management, production coordination, and customer service.
The integration further strengthens collaboration across IM Group’s engineering businesses, including Tecnopails, which today leads the Group’s Filling division.
Through this unified structure, customers will continue to benefit from – Enhanced operational efficiency across engineering and project execution; and Faster response times and improved customer support.
Continued access to specialized dispersing, grinding, and mixing technologies, supported by strengthened manufacturing capabilities through closer integration with IEC Plant Engineering Malaysia’s production operations
IEC+ will continue to provide engineering studies and turnkey solutions as well as technical design, automation and planning, for the ink, paint, coatings, chemical, and related process industries. These activities are further supported by the technical resources, global reach, and engineering expertise available from across the group.
“This milestone further strengthens IM Group’s position as a provider of integrated engineering solutions, while reflecting Inkmaker’s continued commitment to investment in process technologies, engineering excellence, and customer-focused innovation,” said Roberto Guerra, CEO of IM Group.Â
“We extend our appreciation to employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners whose continued trust and collaboration have contributed to the successful completion of this integration process.”
Formed in Italy in 2021, the IM Group is the parent of Inkmaker, Rexson, Vale-tech, Swesa, Teko, Tecnopails and IEC+.
