Srichakra Polyplast, one of India’s leading producers of food-grade recycled plastics, has partnered with Lindner Washtech, a German-origin global recycling technology company, to install two advanced washing lines for processing post-consumer recycled (PCR) film and rigid plastic waste.

The partnership will strengthen Srichakra’s PCR film and rigid plastics recycling capacity, improving recycled material quality, processing efficiency and supply reliability for India’s packaging and manufacturing sectors. Srichakra works with leading beverage, FMCG and consumer brands to convert post-consumer packaging waste into high-quality recycled materials, helping reduce their dependence on virgin plastics.

Srichakra operates India’s first food-grade rPET recycling facility and works with leading beverage, FMCG and consumer brands to convert post-consumer packaging waste into high-quality recycled materials, helping reduce dependence on virgin plastics.

Speaking on the partnership, Ravindra Venkata Paruchuri, co-founder & managing director, Srichakra Polyplast, said, “At Srichakra Polyplast, we are building far more than recycling capacity; we are building the infrastructure required to accelerate the transition towards a truly circular plastics economy. As demand for high-quality recycled materials continues to grow across India and international markets, the ability to consistently deliver quality, traceability and performance becomes increasingly important. For a project of this scale and strategic significance, selecting the right technology partner was critical. As we continue to expand our recycling capabilities and support global brands with sustainable packaging solutions, we look forward to building a long-term partnership with Lindner Washtech and creating new benchmarks for quality, innovation and circularity in plastics recycling.”

“Srichakra Polyplast is setting a high benchmark for advanced recycling in India, and we are glad to support that ambition with washing technology engineered for consistent, high-quality output,” said Ganesh Karankal, director India, Lindner Washtech. “Their commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability aligns perfectly with our vision for the future of plastics recycling. We are proud to be part of this important project and look forward to supporting Srichakra Polyplast as they continue to expand their leadership in advanced recycling and circular materials.”

Lindner Washtech is part of the Lindner Group and specialises in plastics recycling, shredding and washing machinery. Srichakra Polyplast’s recycling expertise and Lindner Washtech’s proven washing technology aims to increase the availability of high-quality recycled plastics while supporting the transition towards a more circular and resource-efficient economy.

The installation will add to Srichakra’s technology backbone as the company scales its recycling operations and supports India’s transition to a circular economy.
