IOWIT Technologies, a technology company based in Gurugram, Haryana, recently strengthened its production capabilities with the acquisition of a Vision K5 HS vacuum metallizer from Bobst, equipped with zinc sulphide (ZnS) and aluminium (Al) coating technology specifically designed for high barrier and high-end holography applications.
According to a press release dated 18 June, Mex, Switzerland, issued by Bobst, IOWIT specializes in advanced optical security, holographic films, embossing, transfer films, and security enhancements that combine visual appeal with anti-counterfeit protection.
ZnS coatings are widely used in holographic and optical applications because they provide high refractive index properties, which are essential for achieving sharp diffraction and vivid visual effects.
This strategic investment marks a significant milestone for IOWIT as it expands into premium value-added packaging and security solutions.
The newly installed Bobst innovation further boosts IOWIT’s capabilities, enabling it to produce high-brightness holographic films and visual effects with enhanced depth and visual impact. It also offers improved light transmission control, supporting a wider range of customization options.
