Garware Hi-Tech Films, a global provider of films for diverse applications, with expertise in polyester (BOPET) and metallized films, showcased its comprehensive portfolio of specialty films at Loupe India 2026 in Greater Noida, highlighting its latest innovations and expanding presence in both domestic and international markets.
Speaking at the show, Manish Kulkarni, deputy general manager, R&D, emphasized the company’s established position as a manufacturer of BOPET films, shrink films, and thermal films tailored for diverse industrial and business applications.

The company highlighted several core product categories aimed at enhancing business solutions for visitors. Among these, PETG films for label applications and specialized label films for photo albums formed a central part of the exhibit.
Additionally, Garware presented its leading film division, which manufactures specialized tray and cup sealing films. Kulkarni said, “These lidding films serve a crucial role in dairy product and meat packaging, where market demand for sustainable packaging solutions is rapidly growing.”
Garware, Kulkarni said, is a prominent manufacturer of lidding films in India, with a major portion of its business focused on export-grade production. The display included metallized grades, thermal grades, and lidding grades.

A primary highlight was the introduction of new product developments, most notably re-closeable films. Designed specifically for food packaging and tray applications, these re-closeable solutions respond directly to evolving market requirements for convenience and fresh-keeping capabilities.
On Loupe India, Kulkarni expressed strong optimism about the platform, describing it as an effective venue for showcasing polyester, lidding, and shrink films. He pointed out that the Indian packaging industry is entering an encouraging growth phase, propelled by continuous innovations in flexible packaging, lidding, and label sectors.
“Visitors and prospective clients at the stand showed high interest in our latest innovations, inquiring closely about PETG films for label and can applications as well as general label printing options. The growing demand for lidding films is driven by large retail chains and supermarkets such as D-Mart, increasingly utilizing ready-to-eat food packaging, for which our specialized lidding films provide a key solution,” he said.
