Garware Hi-Tech Films, a global provider of films for diverse applications, with expertise in polyester films (BOPET), has confirmed its presence at Loupe India 2026 to be held between 29 October to 1 November at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida on the theme ‘Innovation Meets Sustainability.’
At its stand E30, the company will showcase its specialty film portfolio including shrink, label and lidding films, with a spotlight on recyclable and sustainable solutions for Indian packaging.
Shrink Films remain Garware’s flagship category and the company holds a leading share of the Indian market. The range of high-, medium- and low-shrink-force PET films is a direct replacement for PVC shrink film, requiring no major change to converters’ existing line parameters.
Applications span shrink-sleeve labelling and tamper-evident banding across beverages, food, personal care and pharmaceuticals. Within this range, HS COX PET is a high-shrink grade that combines shrink performance with sustainability credentials, positioning it among Garware’s recyclable film solutions.
Matte Shrink film delivers a premium, matt-finish look through direct printing, eliminating the need for a separate matt coating. Label Films offer strong print receptivity, ink adhesion and consistent machinability for pressure-sensitive and wraparound applications, while Lidding Films are engineered for a strong, consistent seal with clean, easy peel opening for food and consumer packaging.
All three categories are backed by Garware’s vertically integrated ‘chips-to-film’ facility in Chh. Sambhajinagar, ensuring consistent quality and a wide range of gauges and grades from a single source.
According to Sandeep Verma, head sales and marketing IPD, Garware Hi-Tech Films, the company will preview a newly developed specialty shrink film engineered for thin-wall containers and HDPE bottles, designed to deliver reliable shrink performance for lightweight packaging formats, broadening the company’s specialty shrink-film portfolio. A live demonstration of Pearl Float shrink film will highlight its floatability and its role in supporting label-container separation during recycling.
On markets, Verma says, “India is central to Garware Hi-Tech Films’ growth strategy. The company’s entire manufacturing base is anchored in its vertically integrated chips-to-film facility in Chh. Sambhajinagar, giving full control over quality from raw material to finished film. Visitors at our stand will also get hands-on access to shrink sleeve, label film and thermal laminating film samples.”
Garware anticipates two streams of engagement at the show — existing customers exploring new innovations, and new enquiries from converters and brand owners discovering the range for the first time.
