Industrial Processors and Metallizers (IPM), a company specializing in critical repair and surface coatings of mechanical components+, has been successfully catering to the printing, hydro, automobile, paper, pump, shipping, and aviation industry for 46 years. Their services include providing reparing and coating services to prolong life and endurance of printing machines and its components such as rollers and cylinders for enhanced life and performance to prevent corrosion and wear and tear. Surbhi Sood, senior manager at IPM further explains, “Our speciality is that we understand the customer’s application in detail to suggest the most viable solution; in particular, we provide the most accurate robotic coatings.”
The IPM stand seemed to be merely warming up on the first day of the Printpack show but nevertheless the footfall multiplied by four times on Day 3. Talking about the visitors, Sood says, “We are receiving serious visitors at the show who are likely to convert into our clients. We are getting a lot of attention from clients from outside India as well. Most of our clients in the print indsutry are from Pan-Asia. However, being a service-oriented provider, we divide our clients on the basis of urgency of their need.”
Being a regular exhibitor at Printpack, IPM believes that the show has two-fold impact on its business. First, the show allows the service provider to inform the visitors about the latest services provided by them who otherwise might not be aware of it and second, it gives the company a chance to get feedback from existing clients in real time. “Being a service-based company, we believe in staying in touch with our customers to understand their requirements better and provide quality services. Printpack also allows our clients to interact with our leaders to clarify any queries that they might have,” she explains.
