Brilliant Polymers’ solvent-free adhesives at Interpack

Brilliant Polymers, a manufacturer of laminating adhesives for flexible packaging, showcased its latest solvent-free adhesive technologies at Interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf, Germany, and engaged with customers, partners, suppliers, and industry stakeholders from across the global packaging value chain.

Brilliant Polymers highlighted its growing portfolio of next-generation solvent-free laminating adhesive technologies developed for modern high-speed lamination environments. The company’s systems are engineered to support the transition from solvent-based to solvent-free lamination wherever technically feasible, while delivering strong operational and sustainability advantages.

By eliminating solvents, these technologies reduce energy consumption, simplify processing, eliminate solvent-related VOC emissions, improve workplace safety, and lower overall process complexity and total cost of ownership.

Advances in formulation technology now enable solvent-free systems to serve a wide spectrum of flexible packaging applications — from high-speed snack packaging to demanding structures such as hot-fill, metallised, boil-in-bag, and frozen-food laminations.

Interpack 2026 also provided an important platform for Brilliant Polymers to engage with international converters and brand owners on the evolving direction of flexible packaging, particularly the increasing global emphasis on sustainability, process efficiency, and high-performance lamination technologies.

Brilliant’s stand attracted strong interest from visitors across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and other international markets, with discussions spanning applications, including high-speed laminations, metallised structures, hot-fill packaging, retort laminations, and other demanding flexible packaging formats, the company stated.

As part of its growing international engagement, Brilliant Polymers was joined at Interpack by Flow Materials AG, Switzerland, its strategic European partner. The collaboration combines Brilliant’s large-scale manufacturing capabilities and advanced adhesive technologies with Flow’s local technical expertise, customer engagement capabilities, and understanding of European regulatory and market requirements.

Together, the companies are working to provide European converters with responsive local technical support, process optimisation guidance, regulatory alignment, and reliable supply backed by one of the world’s largest single-site laminating adhesive manufacturing facilities. The partnership reflects Brilliant’s long-term, structured approach to building its presence in the European flexible packaging market.

Gaurav Talwar, managing director, Brilliant Polymers, said, “Interpack continues to be one of the most important global platforms for the packaging industry. This year’s exhibition clearly reinforced the growing industry focus on solvent-free technologies, sustainability, and process efficiency.”

For Brilliant Polymers, he said, the exhibition was an excellent opportunity to engage with customers and partners from across the world, understand evolving market expectations, and showcase our latest solvent-free adhesive developments.

“We believe the transition toward more sustainable and efficient lamination technologies will continue to accelerate globally, and we remain committed to supporting that transition through technology, manufacturing scale, and strong technical collaboration.”

With a manufacturing capacity of 60,000 metric tonnes at one of the world’s largest single-site laminating adhesive facilities, Brilliant Polymers serves flexible packaging converters across India, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and other global markets.

The company continues to focus strongly on solvent-free polyurethane technologies as part of its long-term commitment to innovation, sustainability, and high-performance flexible packaging solutions.
