Pamex 2015, organized by the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) and managed by Print-Packaging.com, will be held from 9 to 12 December 2015 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. More than 300 exhibitors and visitors are expected at the show in which companies like HP India, Canon, Line-O-Matic Graphic Industries, Ricoh India, EFI India, Xerox India, Print Mac and Autoprint Machinery Manufacturers will display their latest products and solutions. Foreign exhibitors from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Germany, Canada, Malaysia and UK will add an international flavour to the event. A separate MSME pavilion has been designated for start-ups and small ventures that will give them an opportunity to rub shoulders with the giants while showcasing their home-grown innovations.
An extensive promotional campaign with road shows will be presented as a contact programme that will include a knowledge seminar. HP and Technova are the knowledge partners of the events that are being conducted at two levels. The Grass roots Contact Programme will reach out to small towns that are witnessing a big increase in the print demand. The programmes will be conducted in partnership with regional associations in the states of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat.

An International Technology Conclave will be held on 10 December 2015 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre at Hall No 2. The conclave being organized by Mumbai Mudrak Sangh (MMS) will focus on technology hot spot, brand building and innovative print strategies.

Canon India Stand E20
Canon is the third biggest exhibitor at the show.In2010,CanonacquiredOce combined forces to come up with the OceVarioPrinti3oo sheetfed inkjet press. The Oce VarioPrinti300 prints up to 294 (letter)images a minute. It handles paper format size up to 13.9 x 19.7 inch and targets heavy production volume of 1 to 10 million pages a month. The press will be on display at the show.

Electronics for Imaging (EFI) is very positive about its participation in Pamex. Five Star Printing Machinery Stand J01
Five Star Printing Machinery will display several machines at Pamex 2015. This includes an Automatic Punching Machine (Wiro+Spiral)which has maximum paper size of 420 x 420 mm, minimum paper size of 140 x 120 mm, maximum paper thickness of 2 mm (standard is 1.5 mm) and maximum cycle speed of 120 strokes a minute. Its double wire binding machine has a maximum binding width of 360 mm, size of double wire (pitch) as 1/4-inch to 1 ¼-inch and binding speed of 20 books a minute. The third machine to be displayed is the semi-auto Saddle Stitching Machine with maximum booklet size of 450 x 305mm, minimum booklet size of 127 x 89 mm, stitching head (adjustable gap) of 45 to 270 mm, stitching crown size of 13 mm and stitching capacity minimum/maximum of 2 to 120 sheets (4mm). The hydraulic programmable paper cutting machine is available in several sizes (26-inch, 30-inch, 36-inch, 45-inch, 52-inch and 65-inch while the hot foil stamping, embossing and diecutting machine is available in sizes ranging from 20 x 26 inches, 22 x 32 inches, 25 x 27 inches, and 32 x 42 inches. The Round Corner Machine is capable of cutting radius of 3 mm to 8 mm with different tools. Its maximum paper thickness is 50 mm, speed is 130 times a minute, stroke of blade is 90 mm and knives of 3 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm and 8 mm.
Flint Group Stand F33
Flint Group India will showcase the widest range of pressroom supplies at Pamex. While Flint Group serves every major print sector worldwide, the company has decided to focus on their newspaper and sheetfed product innovations. Upal Roy, managing director of Flint Group India, says, “India has a very competitive web offset and sheetfed market. The Flint Group will also showcase its regular offerings to the printing industry, including anti-set off powder, deglazer and washes. Visitors to Stand F33 will get an opportunity to talk with Flint Group experts to learn how pressroom chemicals, printing blankets and sheetfed and web offset process inks, among other products, can best meet their demands.
HP Stand E04-E10

HP has booked the largest stand at Pamex 2015 covering 500 square metres. HP will showcase a variety of star products from its large portfolio, including the flagship HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press which is being showcased for the first time in a trade show in the country. The press maintains all the capabilities distinct to the HP Indigo portfolio in a wider format, including the B2-size that expands the digital printing capabilities while crossing over to traditionally offset markets providing offset print quality, substrate flexibility and wide color gamut in a larger format. With a speed of up to 4,600 sheets an hour and greater imposition efficiency, it also allows print service providers to increase profitability and differentiate their business with new applications such as B2-sized calendars, book covers, posters and canvases.
Apart from the HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press, HP will also showcase the HP Indigo 7800 Digital Press. HP Latex 360 printer, which prints up to 978 square foot an hour and increases application versatility with an ink collector for porous textiles, will also be displayed. The printer features automatic front-to-back registration for printing double-side banners. From a DesignJet standpoint, there will be the HP Page Wide XL 8000 Printer on display, which is also being showcased for the first time at a trade show in India.
Insight Communication and Print Solutions Stand F20

Komori Corporation Japan appointed Insight Communication and Print Solutions as its Indian distributor for selling and servicing its products from 1 January 2013. Insight Communications, which earlier handled only North India for Komori, made arrangements to take over the service support for each and every installation of new Komori presses sold in the last few years (for more information, read Insight appointed all-India Komori distributor published in http://www.indianprinterpublisher.com/news/).
Now the company is planning to display Komori Brand 4-color Sheetfed Offset Press – KomoriEnthroneModelE429 at Pamex. KomoriEnthroneModelE429has a maximum sheet size of 530 x 750 mm, minimum sheet size of 200 x 280 mm and paper thickness range of 0.04 to 0.6 mm. The maximum printing area that this model has is 520 x 740 mm with a plate size of 605 x 760 mm and a blanket size of 688 x 770mm. This machine’s maximum printing speed is 13,000 sph. With a feeder pile height of 800 mm and delivery pile height of 600 mm, Komori Enthrone E429 weighs 14,270 kilogramme and consumes 39.5 KW of power. With the group’s vision to evolve into a complete print solutions’ enterprise, Insight has successfully diversified into various print verticals such as commercial, publishing, packaging and signage.
Konica Minolta Stand D21
Konica Minolta participates in Pamex, to interact with numerous visitors in the graphic industry and make them aware about the possibilities and how digital printing can complement the offset printing process along with understanding their requirement for mutual benefits. Konica Minolta will showcase the JetVarnish3Ddesigned for 2D and 3D applications; the bizhubC1100 andC1085 – next generation of digital presses; bizhub PRESS c1060/c1070 and bizhub press 1250/1052 – monochrome digital press. In January 2016, Konica Minolta will be present at the CEIF 2016 (photofair) with a unique toner technology which is capable of reproducing print close to the RGB color space.
Kunal Enterprises Stand K01/K02
Mumbai-based Kunal Enterprises will promote the complete range of products it distributes in the Indian market, including the printing machines. In India it is the exclusive dealer and distributor for Japan’s Sakurai Graphics Systems which makes screen printing machines; UK’s Natgraph Equipment which makes items like sheet stacker and exposing units and Taiwan’s Kang Yuan Industrial Company. Kunal Enterprises will also promote products from Shikoku Kakoki, a filling machine manufacturing company from Japan which is a new addition to the company’s distribution catalog. Another new company added to Kunal’s distribution list is EPPAK, which makes barrier films and other packaging material and machines. Apart from products, a lot of samples printed or produced by machines distributed by Kunal or produced by using inks and materials sold by the company will be on display at the company stand.

Ahmedabad-based LineOMatic Graphic Industries is a leading manufacturer of high performance exercise bookmaking and paper converting machinery. It makes various models of automatic exercise book making machines, automatic book binding machines, automatic reel to sheet high-speed ruling/flexo printing machines, binding machine and paper sheeters.
At Pamex 2015 the company will demonstrate two models from its portfolio. On display would be an automatic reel to sheet super high-speed ruling/flexo printing machine model SHS104 and an exercise book binding machine model Uno B104. The automatic reel to sheet super high-speed ruling/flexo printing machine consists of reel stand, 3-color printing tower and pile delivery station and is suitable for rule or flexo printing paper in three colors. The machine delivers ruled flexo printed sheets in cut length according to the requirement direct from the reel. The exercise book binding machine is meant for binding a soft title cover staple pin type exercise notebook and consists of a manual bunch feeding table, wire stitching unit, folding unit, square back pressing unit, book front cutting unit, book separating cutting unit and book delivery unit.
Monotech Systems Stand D02

At Pamex Monotech Systems will focus on two segments – commercial, inkjet, labels and packaging, and digital enhancement and finishing. “In commercial, inkjet, labels and packaging we are displaying ITOTEC Robocut paper cutter for commercial printing, JETSCI WP 600 Digital Inkjet web press, Oce PlotWave 340/360 for large format printing, and economical version of our most admired product, JETSCI VSRI with variable data printing, slitter rewinder and camera inspection system,” says Akash Kumar of Monotech Systems. “Whereas from other segments, we are displaying Scodix S75 digital enhancement press, digital laminators, digital finishing systems, Highcon digital cutting and creasing and various lamination films from Derprosa and GMP for photographic and commercial printing applications.”
At the event, Monotech will launch the Hansgronhi laser cutting machine as well as its latest offering in 3D printing. The company will also highlight the Shinohara Sheetfed offset press and will display samples of Focus Labels and Haotian Intermittent offset press.
After Pamex, Monotech will participate in other exhibitions as well. “We will exhibit our Pixeljet UV Flatbed printer for glass printing applications at ZAK Glass Expo, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Apart from this we will be participating in the upcoming CEIF2016, Mumbai with our digital enhancement and finishing range of products,” says Kumar.
Pratham Technologies Stand D40
Pune-based Pratham Technologies will promote both hardware and software at Pamex 2015. On display will be the company’s folding machine with a stacker that will be running throughout the event. The folding machine also has a taping facility as well as aninspection system. “We have been a regular at Pamex and have had good experience at the event. This year too, we are expecting to close a number of deals,” says Yogeshwar Kumawat, marketing manager, print inspection system at Pratham. Although it will not be on display, the company’s carton sorting machine will be showcased through a video. Pratham will also promote the print inspection software from the German firm, tec4check, and text verification software from Schlafender Hase.
Ricoh India Stand G02
Ricoh India has been associated with Pamex for long and this year the company is co-sponsoring the event. A lot of promotional activities have been planned and six products from Ricoh’s portfolio would be on display. Ricoh will showcase its Color Production Printer Pro C7100x, Color Production Printer Pro C5100s, wide format Production Printer Pro L4160/4130, Color Production Printer Pro C9100, B/W Production Printer Pro 8100 and a new launch will be unveiled at the event. Commenting on the company’s plan, Umang Singhal, national business and marketing manager, says, “We have been a regular atPamex and this year too we will show a range of products from wide format to narrow format. We also expect to close a few deals at Pamex.”
Srinivas Papers Stand I50
Srinivas Papers will display Polyart, Arjobex’s range of synthetic papers. The company will introduce Arjobex’s expanded range of IML product offering Polyart IML HD to the Indian market. The Polyart IML HD was launched at Labelexpo Europe 2015. Srinivas will display Paper Tyger, a specialized laminated substrate and HB Fuller high-performance adhesives at the show.

Suba Solutions has been participating in Pamex ever since the company was established.V Vaidyalingam, director, Suba Solutions, says Pamex is a popular print show for attracting both national and international spectators. Suba Solutions will display different products at the event through illustrations. Yii Lee’s Metpet Auto Laminator, Brausse Eterna’s Foil Stamper and Focusight Quality Inspection System for cartons and labels will be highlighted at the stand throughout the event. “Each year Pamex proves to be a grand success. In 2013 we recieved many hot leads that were later converted into clients,” adds Vaidyalingam.

TechNova will showcase its latest offerings in the chemistry-free and direct-on press chemistry-free digital plates ecosystem – Azura TU and Azura TE Thermal plates and VioGreen Plus Violet free and chemistry-free green plate production environment. TechNova will also display its IPA reducing and eliminating fount solution concentrates, Fogra approved press washes, and plate and machine care products. Visitors will get to see the next generation thermal and violet plate setters that help save power and reduce costs. TechNova will also display the Konica Minolta C1060 digital production press, the Duplo 646 cutting, creasing, slitting device; Agfa’s Apogee workflow and Arziro Design security plug-in for Adobe illustrator.
Techno Graphic Services Stand F54
Techno Graphic Services (TGS) will focus on exploring new business opportunities and promoting its products. “This year Pamex will be special for us because we will share our stand with SBL Group which we are going to represent in India. We are going to sign the agreement shortly. By the time Pamex starts, we will be business partners,” says Muralidhar Nalli, managing director of TGS. Earlier SBL in India was represented by Heidelberg. Established in 1968, the Taiwan-based SBL Group provides a wide range of products from auto diecutting and creasing ave platen, foil stamping and diecutting platen, high-speed folding and gluing machine to die making machine, precision scroll saw machine, window patching machine and automatic laminator machine. After the partnership, TGS will be the sole distributor of SBL folder-gluer diecutter and flute laminatorin India.

At Pamex, Valco Melton will display a range of its hot melt and cold glue dispensing systems that have been specifically designed to meet the unique application requirements of the print finishing industry. The company will display microgluer (from GMS-VanSco of Valco Melton), D4-e Melters and NC Series. Xerox Stand D20
Xerox Versant 80 Press prints at 80pages a minute and delivers ultra HD, 10-bitimage quality at 2,400 x 2,400 dpi and can handle a variety of media types with a compact Belt Fuser system and Xerox’s EA Low Melt Dry Ink. The Xerox Color Press 1000i includes an optional Specialty Dry Ink Station that enhances documents with metallic gold or silver dry inks and applies spot or flood creative effects with clear dry ink. The 1000i can migrate lucrative foil stamping applications such as invitations, certificates and business cards to short-run, high-value digital production. The Xerox 2100Press is a 100 page a minute device which combines speed, ultra HD image quality and automation features to create personalized communications, collateral, brochures, photo publishing and specialty print products.
Zhongke Stand E50
At Pamex 2015, Zhongke, a Chinese company, will launch its Indian joint venture, Zhongke India, and display its entire range of case-makers, rigid box-makers, lamination and grooving machines.
