StarPac India, a packaging machinery manufacturer serving the food, pharma, personal care segments among others, showcased its high-speed multitrack powder-packaging machine, the MTD 1200 AF8, at ProPak India 2026, held from 26 to 28 August in Mumbai.
The Chennai-headquartered company that has major food and beverage brands as its clients also highlighted its capabilities in primary, secondary and tertiary packaging automation.
Sunil Mahadik, chief operating officer of StarPac India, said the company manufactures multitrack machines for three-side-seal, four-side-seal and centre-seal applications. Its portfolio includes multitrack stick-pack machines in centre-seal and three-side-seal formats.
“We focus on high-productivity machines,” Mahadik said. For small sachet applications, StarPac offers multitrack machines that can produce approximately 1,200 packs a minute.
The MTD 1200 AF8 is designed for packing powder doses ranging from 0.5 to 25 grams. According to Mahadik, the machine can deliver approximately 800 to 1,000 packs a minute.
Apart from its primary packaging machines, StarPac supplies secondary and tertiary automation systems. The company aims to provide integrated packaging lines that reduce manual handling and improve production-line efficiency.
“We have secondary and tertiary automation as well, so we are providing end-to-end solutions,” Mahadik said.
On ProPak India 2026, Mahadik said the company’s stand at a prominent location helped it connect with good prospects. “We have had a good experience and we are happy with the response,” he said.
StarPac is a regular in ProPak in India and abroad and uses these platforms to demonstrate its machines and engage with customers looking for high-speed and integrated packaging solutions.
