The company is showcasing state-of-the-art solutions, from dairy processing equipment to sustainability solutions, as well as insights around new categories such as khoa, ghee, fermented dairy beverages and more.

Tetra Pak is also showcasing two of their made-in-India dairy processing equipment – a continuous freezer module and a special module for dairy separators. Both are key innovations for the Indian dairy industry.

In addition, Tetra Pak brings in international experts to share their knowledge on key issues at the summit, which is organized by the International Dairy Federation (IDF) every year.

Romulo Alvarado, dairy development manager at Tetra Laval Food for Development, will speak about ‘Opportunities and approaches for small-holder dairy systems’, bringing in learnings from across the world at the event.

Katarina Lindgren, a senior dairy technologist at Tetra Pak’s Dairy Centre of Expertise will talk about ‘Strategies to improve energy efficiencies in dairy processing’.

With a legacy of over 70 years across the world, Tetra Pak has been at the forefront of innovation in the dairy industry. In India, Tetra Pak has been a contributor to the dairy industry since the time it began its operations in the country over 35 years ago, playing a leading role in helping make nutritious dairy products safe and available for consumers everywhere.

Tetra Pak is the headline sponsor for the IDF – Dairy Innovation Awards 2022, which are designed to encourage and celebrate innovative practices across the dairy sector. The winners will be felicitated at the Summit today.

With the theme of Dairy for Nutrition and Livelihood, the summit is taking place at the India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida, from 12 to 15 September 2022. The summit brings approximately 1500 participants from all over the world under one roof to talk about how the sector can contribute to nourishing the world with safe and sustainable dairying.

The Tetra Pak team is at Stand SS16, Hall 3.

The Covid-19 pandemic led to the country-wide lockdown on 25 March 2020. It will be two years tomorrow as I write this. What have we learned in this time? Maybe the meaning of resilience since small companies like us have had to rely on our resources and the forbearance of our employees as we have struggled to produce our trade platforms.

The print and packaging industries have been fortunate, although the commercial printing industry is still to recover. We have learned more about the digital transformation that affects commercial printing and packaging. Ultimately digital will help print grow in a country where we are still far behind in our paper and print consumption and where digital is a leapfrog technology that will only increase the demand for print in the foreseeable future.

Web analytics show that we now have readership in North America and Europe amongst the 90 countries where our five platforms reach. Our traffic which more than doubled in 2020, has at times gone up by another 50% in 2021. And advertising which had fallen to pieces in 2020 and 2021, has started its return since January 2022.

As the economy approaches real growth with unevenness and shortages a given, we are looking forward to the PrintPack India exhibition in Greater Noida. We are again appointed to produce the Show Daily on all five days of the show from 26 to 30 May 2022.
