Xsys will showcase its latest flexo print production innovations in Labelexpo Americas 2022.

Xsys is pleased to announce its participation at Labelexpo Americas on 13–15 September 2022. The show gears up to make a welcome return to the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Chicago. Appearing on Stand 929, Hall A, in collaboration with our North American distributor partner Anderson & Vreeland, Xsys will highlight its latest flexo print production innovations.

“At Labelexpo, we will be focusing our attention on just how our best-in-class solutions can allow converters to be brilliant, deliver for their customers and stay competitive through these challenging times,” said Dan Rosen, sales director of National Accounts, North America. “It will be absolutely fantastic to meet the industry again at the show, which is one of those key events that we all look forward to. I always come away with a lot of energy after face-to-face interaction with our customers, and I know the rest of the team feels the same way.”

The nyloflex Xpress Thermal Processing System will take center stage in the Stand to demonstrate how plate makers can achieve better and more consistent quality, faster production and easier handling of flexo plates. With plates ready in less than one hour, the system can help reduce press downtime to meet brand owners’ demands for a faster time to market. There are also significant sustainability benefits with thermal plates; for instance, nyloflex Xpress cuts down dramatically on energy usage, reducing costs by as much as 94% compared to solvent processing.

Xsys is the only supplier to manufacture all its plates, imagers and processors as well as sleeves and adapters in-house, giving the company full control of the whole production process and the ability to deliver more coherent service and support. As number 1 or 2 in most of the segments its serves, Xsys has the widest portfolio of products and brands, which includes nyloflex solvent and nyloflex Xpress thermal plates and equipment, nyloprint letterpress plates and equipment, nylosolv washout solvent, rotec sleeves and adapters, ThermoFlexX TfxX Imagers, ThermoFlexX Catena Plate Processing equipment, and Woodpecker surface screening solutions.

Before the show, the North American team spoke about its commitment to the label and packaging industry and how the separation from Flint Group has sharpened its focus. “As Xsys, we are a stronger and more focused unit that can respond quickly to our customers and any market changes,” said managing director for Plates, Eric Gibbs. “We can also guarantee that our plates and equipment will work seamlessly throughout your prepress process and in the pressroom, simply because we design, engineer and manufacture all our own plates, sleeves, adapters and platemaking equipment. That is a unique offering in the market, which our customers benefit enormously.”

The impact, resilience, and growth of responsible packaging in a wide region are daily chronicled by Packaging South Asia.

A multi-channel B2B publication and digital platform such as Packaging South Asia is always aware of the prospect of new beginnings and renewal. Its 16-year-old print monthly, based in New Delhi, India has demonstrated its commitment to progress and growth. The Indian and Asian packaging industries have shown resilience in the face of ongoing challenges over the past three years.

As we present our publishing plan for 2023, India’s real GDP growth for the financial year ending 31 March 2023 will reach 6.3%. Packaging industry growth has exceeded GDP growth even when allowing for inflation in the past three years.

The capacity for flexible film manufacturing in India increased by 33% over the past three years. With orders in place, we expect another 33% capacity addition from 2023 to 2025. Capacities in monocartons, corrugation, aseptic liquid packaging, and labels have grown similarly. The numbers are positive for most of the economies in the region – our platform increasingly reaches and influences these.

Even given the disruptions of supply chains, raw material prices, and the challenge of responsible and sustainable packaging, packaging in all its creative forms and purposes has significant headroom to grow in India and Asia. Our context and coverage engulf the entire packaging supply chain – from concept to shelf and further – to waste collection and recycling. We target brand owners, product managers, raw material suppliers, packaging designers and converters, and recyclers.

In an admittedly fragmented and textured terrain, this is the right time to plan your participation and marketing support communication – in our impactful and highly targeted business platform.
