Printmann Group, recently ordered it’s 2nd Lombardi Synchroline press from VINSAK, which perhaps has become the market leader in the narrow web market in 2018 with the largest number of installs in India. This order is less than 14 months after the first press was delivered to Printmann’s Rabale facility in 2017.

The Lombardi Synchroline 330 is equipped with 8 color, turn bar, die-cutting unit, and hot air cassettes. The press is specially configured to cater to the Pharma Label market on which Pritmann has a strong focus. The commitment to deliver the right quality products and prompt service delivery motivated Printmann for the repeated order.

Tejas Tanna, director of Printmann Group said,It was indeed a fiddly expedition when we decided a year back to change the technology from Offset to Flexography for our label division. However, the transition was amazingly smooth as the machine was quite simple to use and within a month we were up and running with the commercial production. To enhance our footprint in labels, we decided to go with another Lombardi Synchroline to have flexibility on our shop floor and over and above we are very happy with the support of the VINSAK and Lombardi Team”.

Mohan Pailwan, general manager, VINSAK said, “It is always a pleasure and great satisfaction when a customer orders repeat equipment. It is a vindication of our core philosophy of offering the most suited, customized equipment for each of our customers and backing it up with good after-sales service enabling the customer to get the fastest ROI. Printmann group has been our preferred customer with more than 6 machines being delivered to them from our portfolio including reel-fed offset presses, flexo, and label finishing equipment. We hope to be able to be a part of their growth story in the years to come.”

The impact, resilience, and growth of responsible packaging in a wide region are daily chronicled by Packaging South Asia.

A multi-channel B2B publication and digital platform such as Packaging South Asia.is always aware of the prospect of new beginnings and renewal. Its 16-year-old print monthly, based in New Delhi, India has demonstrated its commitment to progress and growth. The Indian and Asian packaging industries have shown resilience in the face of ongoing challenges over the past three years.

As we present our publishing plan for 2023, India’s real GDP growth for the financial year ending 31 March 2023 will reach 6.3%. Packaging industry growth has exceeded GDP growth even when allowing for inflation in the past three years.

The capacity for flexible film manufacturing in India increased by 33% over the past three years. With orders in place, we expect another 33% capacity addition from 2023 to 2025. Capacities in monocartons, corrugation, aseptic liquid packaging, and labels have grown similarly. The numbers are positive for most of the economies in the region – our platform increasingly reaches and influences these.

Even given the disruptions of supply chains, raw material prices, and the challenge of responsible and sustainable packaging, packaging in all its creative forms and purposes has significant headroom to grow in India and Asia. Our context and coverage engulf the entire packaging supply chain – from concept to shelf and further – to waste collection and recycling. We target brand owners, product managers, raw material suppliers, packaging designers and converters, and recyclers.

In an admittedly fragmented and textured terrain, this is the right time to plan your participation and marketing support communication – in our impactful and highly targeted business platform.
