At All in Print China, Weigang showcased its new servo driven label press ZJR 330 which it is planning to launch in the Indian market in association with Intergraphic of India. According to Spring Xu, international sales manager of Zhejiang Weigang Machinery, “This new 10-color modular flexo label press is completely servo driven with technology from Bosch Rexroth. Each unit of this press has two servo motors – one driving the printing roller and one driving the water roller. We believe this press is ideal for in-mould labels, shrink sleeves and most kind of other materials.”

Weigang will be showing this new press in the Indian market in the forthcoming Labelexpo
India show. Amit Sheth of Mumbai based Intergraphic said, “We are really excited about this new flexo press from Weigang. This is a modular press with full servo. But the real intriguing part is the economics involved compared to a Western European press equipped with the same kind of technology where ROI takes a considerable amount of time. The engineering on this press is at par with the industry standards with no compromise on quality. We hope to achieve a positive response at the show.”

Pulisi’s inspection systems for the Indian market

Intergraphic has also been promoting Pulisi’s inspection systems. Amit Sheth said, “Pulisi’s
technology is quite unique in the market. Whereas other companies offer separate solutions for separate requirements, we are offering an all-in-one inspection system. This was launched in the previous edition of Labelexpo India. Already dozens of this system have been installed in the Indian market. We will be showing this technology once again at the Labelexpo India show. We shall also be showing a 330 mm machine which will be ideal for the label market. Along with these, we shall be showing a PDF reference inspection system through which a print can be verified against the original PDF file for defects.” Although Pulisi’s inspection solutions are only for the label industry at the moment, it is planning to launch its solutions for carton inspection within the next three months.
