Bloomflex in Hyderabad opts for Premia CI flexo

Bloomflex, a flexible packaging company based in Hyderabad, has opted for CI flexo press from the Czech Republic-based Soma Engineering. The 8-color Somaflex Premia flexographic printing press is meant solely for printing with solvent and water soluble inks. With a maximum printing width of 1,050 mm and web width of 1,100 mm, the press can take roll up to 1,000 mm diameter at a maximum printing speed of up to 450 metres a minute. The machine is equipped with gas drying, drying tunnel of 4.3 metres with 26 nozzles, an electric load of 155 KW, maximum print repeat up to 915 mm, and an onboard chamber with patented Positec technology. The temperature of the press is maintained through the patented Q-Shield technology. Shaft-free winding and unwinding makes the job of an operator easier and roll supporting from both sides results in a reduction of roll run-out caused by oscillation during machine operation which also has a positive effect on runnability.
