Cosmoprof India, a business-to-business event for the fast-growing beauty market in India, opened its doors in Mumbai on 16 December. The two-day event returns to India’s financial capital after last being held in 2019 and is taking place at the Sapphire Hall of the Hotel Sahara Star.

Launched in 2018 in Mumbai, the event is organized by Bologna Fiere, one of the leading international exhibition organizers and Informa Markets India. Along with Mumbai, the trade show takes place in the major global cities of Las Vegas, Bologna, and Hong Kong. This year the event has been cut to two days as against the three days of the 2019 edition.

The 2021 edition of Cosmoprof features almost all sectors of the professional beauty business including ingredients and raw materials, OEMs, contract manufacturing and private labels, primary and secondary packaging, service providers, and finished product. The exhibition event is divided into perfumery and cosmetics, aesthetics and spa, hair, nail, and natural & organic. There is not much representation from the machinery segment this year, however.
