Ajay Bhardwaj, sales manager – India, BHS India, says, “IndiaCorr Expo 2021 at Greater Noida, which took place just after Covid-19, was fantastic for the company as we received good responses. In 2022, we are expecting a decent footfall and a good prospect list of customers so that we can grow more and reach out in the industry in less time and at a reasonable cost. We are looking forward to educating and enhancing the skill levels of industry people so that everyone can contribute to the growth. It will benefit everyone, starting from the customers to the suppliers.”

The company says it will touch a figure of 20 corrugator lines in India by end-2022. Bhardwaj adds, “The Make in India drive is showing results, we can see a change in the approach of the investors in India. The India corrugated boxes market is expected to exhibit a CAGR at a much faster pace during 2022-2027 because whatever is going to be manufactured in India will need a box to be packed according to the need for primary, secondary, or tertiary packaging. The corrugated packaging and folding carton segments both will get a bigger pie in the days to come.”
