The 8th European edition of the Sustainable Foods Summit will feature sustainable ingredients and approaches to tackle food losses and waste. Taking place on 9 and 10 June, the executive summit will be hosted in Amsterdam for the eighth consecutive year. The proceedings will open with a discussion on the implications of COP21.

EyeC will focus on buyers and manufacturers of high-quality packages at drupa 2016. The inspection experts will introduce its latest advances in print quality control. The drupa 2016 organizers have taken on the challenge of maintaining a platform that tries to bring together many of the threads that are still developing and not fully formed such as industrial printing and 3D printing. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry’s (FICCI’s) 2nd National Conference on Packaging Plastic – The Sustainable Choice held in New Delhi on 19 January 2016 was an elaborate affair witnessing the attendance of eminent people from the plastic packaging segment globally. Several students, sponsored by Sabic, were also given the opportunity to attend the conference in the national capital and learn from the industry experts first hand. While the welcome address was conducted by KK Seksaria, president, Plastindia Foundation, the inaugural session was moderated by Vinay Mathur, deputy secretary general, FICCI.
