GSE to show ink logistics solutions at drupa 2016
At drupa 2016, GSE Dispensing (Hall 3 Stand F50) will exhibit ink logistics solutions that eliminate waste, enable repeatable color on demand and reduce setup times in the label and package printing workflow. Designed for flexo, gravure and screen ink applications, these comprise dispensing systems for spot and process colors, ink bucket washers, table-top off-line proofing systems and integrated ink management software.

Gallus showcases the new Labelmaster 440
In a world premier, Gallus showcased a pre-series model of its latest generation of machines at the Gallus Innovation Days, scheduled from 20–22 September 2016 at the company headquarters in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Seven years after the market launch of the Gallus ECS 340, by far the best-selling and one of the most successful conventional label printing systems in its class for Gallus, the company is set to launch a new machine with a wider web width of 440 mm.
Uflex’s robotic plant takes sustainability to the next level
Uflex’s robotic plant in Noida for manufacturing rotogravure cylinders is a modern and sophisticated laser engraving setup, which produces around 65 rotogravure cylinders a day. Fully environment-controlled, the automated system comprises three zones: A, B and C. Zones A and B are no less than the ICU of a hospital, closely monitoring not only the precise engraving of the cylinders, but also auto-controlling the zones in terms of temperature, dust particle size and much more. The two specially programmed robots in Zones A and B work relentlessly and sequentially carrying the cylinders in and out of separate units within the New FX2 Laser system for processes like electric degreasing, nickel plating, copper plating, copper grinding, ultrasonic cleansing, lacquer coating and drying, through Zone C delivering the final cylinders ready for customers to use.
