Branded, a consulting services company, has bagged silver at the Pentawards 2025, the packaging design competition, under the Ready-to-Eat Dishes and Fast Food category, for its work on mezete, a Middle Eastern ready-to-eat food brand and prestigious global client.
The Pentawards 2025 Gala Night took place in Amsterdam, where global design leaders came together to celebrate excellence in packaging. A press release by Branded said it was the only Indian agency to win at the awards.
The packaging design redefines how Middle Eastern brands present themselves on the global shelf. mezete, a Jordanian brand with a presence in over 40 countries and one of the fastest-growing Middle Eastern food brands, had recently unveiled a striking new branding crafted by Branded. The idea was to transfer the energy, busyness, vibrancy, and chaos of the souks (bazaars) of the Middle East onto the packs, rather than using the typical Middle Eastern patterns.
Ankur Rander, founder & CEO, Branded, said, “Our strategy was to find a way to make people taste the Middle East simply by looking at the packaging, and here we are! Being recognized among the best of the best in global packaging design is extremely gratifying. We are grateful to our mezete client for trusting us and letting us do what we do best.”
Khaled Kasih, CEO, Kasih Foods, added, “The new mezete design by Branded captures the soul of the Middle Eastern souk-bold, colorful, and full of life. The vibrant palette and fluid typography reflect the warmth, generosity, and authenticity thatmMezete stands for. It’s a design that draws the eye of retailers and consumers alike, embodying the flavor, energy, and spirit of our region.”
