Rungta Greentech raises second round of growth capital from 360 ONE Asset & Co-Investors

Rungta Greentech, a specialist in recycled polymers and circular materials segment, has raised its second round of investment, with participation from AIF managed by 360 ONE Asset, one of India’s leading homegrown alternative asset managers, along with a select group of co-investors.

The latest investment follows the company’s first investment round led by Ratnabali Group and other co-investors. The first round supported Rungta Greentech’s evolution from a conventional PET recycling business to a more integrated and technology-driven recycling platform, focused on higher-value recycled materials and technology-led processing.

The latest fundraise will support expansion across food-grade recycled PET (rPET), recycled HDPE and PP, and textile-to-textile recycling, while enabling investments in advanced technology, additional processing capacity expansion and the development of new material recycling capabilities.

Deepak Rungta, chairman & managing director, Rungta Greentech, said, “The first round gave us the confidence to accelerate our journey, and this second round is a strong validation of the progress we have made and the opportunity ahead. We are grateful to Ratnabali Group, our first investors, and now 360 ONE Asset along with other co-investors for their continued confidence in our vision. We see our investors as long-term partners as we build the next phase of Rungta Greentech.”

“Recycling has evolved beyond waste-management business. Our objective is to build a technology-driven circular materials platform that can recover post-consumer and post-industrial waste, process it to consistent quality standards and return it to the economy as high-quality raw material,” he said.

“Our focus will remain on technology, quality and scale as we expand beyond PET into other high-potential recycling streams.”

A new PET recycling facility with an input processing capacity of 10 tons per hour is expected to commence operations by October 2026. The facility expected to be a dark factory is being designed around a high degree of automation, process control, data capture and real-time monitoring, with the objective of improving throughput, consistency and operational efficiency.

The company is evaluating opportunities in textile-to-textile recycling, leveraging its existing experience in material collection, sorting, recovery and recycling. The initiative is aimed at addressing the growing requirement for recycled feedstock from the textile and apparel value chain and expanding the company’s presence across circular materials.
