On May 8, 2026, Interpack China 2026 was announced at a press conference held at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre during Interpack 2026, the world’s leading processing and packaging trade fair. The event attracted international media and industry representatives from multiple countries, including Singapore, India, Japan, Italy, Turkey, Brazil, and Austria.
Larry Chen, senior project director at Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai), moderated the event. He noted that following its milestone 10th anniversary and official rebranding in 2025, Interpack China 2026 will further accelerate its internationalization. By deepening connections with the global packaging industry, the exhibition aims to provide a leading platform for efficient business matchmaking and collaborative innovation for the Asia-Pacific region and the world.

It anticipates around 47,000 trade visitors, with international attendees making up roughly 20% of the total.

She highlighted the establishment of a comprehensive industry ecosystem encompassing production equipment, packaging materials, and end-user products.
Supported by flexible and efficient manufacturing, agile market responses, and mature smart logistics, the industry has built a highly resilient global supply chain. As green transition gathers pace, the adoption of recyclable and biodegradable packaging materials is accelerating, expanding eco-friendly applications and driving continued industry innovation. By gathering premium global resources and offering highly efficient networking channels, Interpack China helps the industry build a collaborative, mutually beneficial global supply chain ecosystem.
